Omaha Mom Prom

This night made it into my Top Ten Nights of my Life!  It was a blast.

Held on April 22, 2011, this event was put together in less than four weeks to benefit the Price family, who have two children battling a degenerative brain disease.  Born at a book club, it took all aspects of social media to make this evening a success.

Held at the Regency Lodge, women from all over Omaha and surrounding areas, spent the evening dancing the night away for a good cause.

We crowned a random Prom Queen, and though I didn’t win, I did get to hold the flowers.

Some women were dressed in spectacular gowns, while others found the most atrocious get-ups for the night.  Both were amazing and added to the night.

We were able to raise nearly $5000.00 to benefit the Price family.

There are so many people to thank that helped make this night a possibility:

Jessica and Sara for all of your behind the scenes legwork and planning,

The Omaha World-Herald and Momaha.com, for all of the publicity and advertising,

The Regency Lodge and Complete Music, for providing space and music to make the night a complete success,

Jones Bros. Cupcakes for some delicious treats,

Lesley Knox Photography, for the incredible photos and props,

Project Style for loaning us some amazing dresses,

and lastly, to the women who attended and made the evening a complete success.
